    Acne Back Treatment

Back acne can be severe and probably the most painful acne. It can be distressing and cause itching.  Back acne is prevalent and harder to deal with than facial acne. It can appear in lots of forms, such as blackheads, pimples or zits, pustules, or perhaps the most unfortunate kind of acne, cysts or cystic acne.  Indeed, back acne does not only cause skin irritation but additionally causes a greatly reduce in a person’s self worth, which can result in depression.  Back acne breakouts are prevalent and  harder to take care of than facial acne. Much like acne located anywhere else on a person’s body, back acne has many of the same root causes. Like other types of acne it is due to hormones working on the overactive, sebaceous oil producing glands in the skin producing too much sebum or oil. It’s not regarded as caused by heredity and genetic disposition except in severe conditions.  It isn’t usually that troublesome but  should be cured as soon as possible because if it is not treated it could turn into pustules or even to boils or abscess. Bad back acne can also leave scarring and blemishes. It’s not a deadly disease, but without treatment acne can disfigure, scar, and seriously disrupt the life of the sufferer.

The skin on the back is usually much thicker than that around the face, sometimes making effective acne treatment more challenging, although treatment for back acne is only slightly different from treating acne about the face or other parts of the body. Some ideas on how to treat back acne are:

Wear loose clothing, especially in the summer when you may get sweaty and hot.

There are specific fabrics that may irritate acne.  Sometimes however, it’s not the fabric but the tightness of the clothing which could cause and irritate back acne. Tight-fitting clothing and clothing made from fabrics that don’t let the skin breathe are two of the main instigators of back acne. One other issue can be that the constant friction from this type of clothing can make it worse and may even cause lesions to erupt and pus to ooze out.

Ladies, whenever you can, start using a hand bag instead of a purse which can have irritating straps, also avoid  backpacks.

Use a very mild laundry detergent for your clothing as strong detergents can aggravate skin disorders of this kind, non biological varieties would be best.

Ladies, I’m sure you know what it’s like to want to buy that “perfect” dress for a special ocassion like a prom, wedding or birthday party but you can’t wear the one you want because they all show too much of one’s back(as well as your acne) .And guys, I know you’ve felt embarrased when you’ve gone to the pool or the beach and had people provide credit in disgust as if you had some kind of contageous disease.

I had severe acne my entire life, and I tried all the other back acne treatments like Proactiv to over the counter scrubs,  exfoliants, soaps with benzoyl peroxide, microdermabrasion creams, toners and serums to stronger prescription drugs such as  Roaccutane. The trouble with something as strong as these drugs is that in order to get effective long term results and clear skin you need to take the product LONG TERM. I don’t mean a few weeks or months but literally for several years. Not only is this really harmful to other parts of your body but the financial obligation can be crippling over that amount of time .Sure you can buy cheaper generic acne medications from various online retailers but do you really know what your getting when you’re taking these drugs, as they sure haven’t been passed by anyone as stringent as the FDA, so you take them at your own risk. Also having done this myself in the past you also stand the chance of losing your drugs to customs as some countries have importation restrictions on drugs being brought in from other countries.

Hopefully you have found this article helpful on how to treat your back acne

Summer is the time to go out, soak in the sun’s rays , and have fun with friends and family at the beach. Unfortunately , it is also the time when acne are most likely to break out in the most unexpected places . Don’t let a couple of zits spoil your summer fun. Here are a few useful tips to help keep your summer swell and acne-free .

    1.  Control Your Summer Oil

The high summer temperatures combined with humidity can push your oild glands to work overtime . This in turn makes acne breakouts more likely to occur. To control oil and acne , wash your face with a foaming cleanser when you wake up and before you go to sleep . For really oily skin , use an alcohol-free astringent on your problem spots after you wash your face at night . You can also pamper yourself to an oil-absorbing facial mask once a week to get rid of all the excess oil.

Like your skin, the scalp also gets an oil boost during summer. That is why hair can get especially oily and dirty in summer . This causes acne on your face and back, which are in constant contact with your hair. To prevent this, you should shampoo your hair at least every other day.

    2. Use Oil-Free Moisturizer

You don’t need to lather up on moisturizer during summer as you do during colder months. Use a light, oil-free moisturizer to keep to keep oil and blemishes at a minimum. Also look for non-comedogenic moisturizers that won’t clog your pores .

    3.  Wear Light, Breathable Clothes

One of the irritating things about summer is that acne can show up in the most inlikely places, like your arm, neck, or even your thighs. This happens when your skin gets hot and then gets frequently rubbed in with your clothes. To prevent this from happening, choose light, breathable fabrics for your summer wardrobe . This not only keeps weird acne at bay but also helps your body cool down.

    4.  Never Go Out Without Sunscreen

A good, bronzed, tan may look lovely, but inflamed acne does not. Never go out of the house without an oil-free, non-comedogenic, waterproof (and sweat-proof) sunscreen that has at least SPF 15. Use sunscreen even when it’s cloudy outside. And always pack with you a nice, wide-brimmed hat when you go to the beach.

    6.  Check Your Skin Products for Contraindications Against the Sun

A lot of people make the mistake of using skin products without checking if they are contraindicated against the sun. Acne treatments like retinoic acid, alpha hydroxyl acids, salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, and antibiotics like tetracycline, minocycline, doxycycline, and accutan can cause skin damage if you use them while your skin is exposed to the sun . Check the labels of the acne products you’re using if they’re okay to use with sun exposure . You might also want to look into acne treatment alternatives that are not contraindicated against sun exposure . These include oral treatments like hormones or vitamins for acne.
